Originally planned as Plaza San Clemente to open in spring 2008 to late 2009, this was to be the first outlet center in prosperous Orange County. The retail complex was to feature nearly 600,000 SF of multiple retail uses encompassing retail, multiplex cinema, a mix of casual and fine restaurants, as well as a hotel (The Lodge of San Clemente with 129 custom, boutique rooms) with conference facilities.
